What data we use

Before the test you enter your name and email address. During the test your answers are saved, and after it your result, chosen language and a note that you have seen the cookie notice. All of this is kept in your browser's local storage, not on a server: the site has no database.

Where the data goes

When you finish the test, your name, email address and answers (as a result code) are passed to the email-sending service, a Google Apps Script running in the site owner's Google account, which sends you your result. The data is not used for any other purpose and is not passed to third parties.

The hosting provider (GitHub Pages) receives standard technical request data: IP address, browser type, page address. Fonts are served from this site itself and are not loaded from Google's servers. Visit statistics are collected by Yandex Metrica (Yandex LLC): it receives anonymised visit data, namely the page address without the result code, the referrer, device and browser type, and a recording of on-page actions (Webvisor); the name and email fields, the result link and code are excluded from the recording. The data is processed under Yandex's terms; you can stop the collection in your browser settings or with a tracker blocker. No advertising trackers are used.

The result link

The report link contains your name, email address and answers in encoded form. Anyone with the link can open the report, so share it only with people you trust. The admin panel works only in the browser of the person who pasted the codes into it.

How to delete your data

To delete the data on your device, clear the site's data in your browser settings or press “Take the test again”. The result email is in your mailbox. To ask for the sender-side copy of the email to be deleted, contact us via GitHub (link on the About page).

Cookies

The site itself sets no cookies: for the items above it uses the browser's local storage, a technology with the same purpose. Yandex Metrica sets its own cookies (for example _ym_uid and _ym_d) to tell visitors apart. That is why the notice is shown once on your first visit.
