In-depth DISC report

The summary report you get after the test answers one question: what’s my type? The in-depth report answers the next one: what do I do with it? It’s built from your own answers: your scores, your profile, your name on every page.

The report is built from your test result

Take the free test first: 24 blocks, about 10 minutes. You’ll see your result and your summary report right away.

Who it’s for

What’s inside

The order and titles of the sections are the same for all sixteen profiles; the text is written separately for each one.

  1. How to read this report. What DISC describes, what it doesn’t, and where the report’s limits are.
  2. Your profile in detail. Four scales with your percentages, a breakdown of each scale, and a comparison of the two layers of your answers: your adapted style and your natural style.
  3. How others see you. The first impression you make, what people notice after a month, five blind spots, and how people of each style tend to read you.
  4. Your strengths and how to use them. Five strengths, each with a technique that gets more out of it.
  5. Growth areas: five practices. What’s going on, what to do about it, and how to tell the practice is working.
  6. What motivates you and what doesn’t. What energizes you, what switches you off, and how to set goals for yourself.
  7. Work and career. Where your style works best, the tasks that trip you up, how you make decisions, and the signs that a role isn’t right for you.
  8. Communicating with each of the four styles. How to spot the other person’s style, how to open the conversation, where friction comes from, and a ready-made phrase for each case.
  9. Conflict and stress. Three typical scenarios, the early signs of pressure, and what to do in the moment.
  10. You as a manager and as a team member. What comes easily, what lets you down, and how to report to, disagree with and ask things of a manager of each style.
  11. 30-day plan. A worksheet: four weeks, three steps a week, with boxes to check off.
  12. The essentials on one page. A worksheet: the report boiled down to a page you can keep in front of you.
  13. How to work with me. A worksheet for your manager and colleagues: print it or pass it on.

Questions and answers

Is the report written for me, or is it generic text?

It’s built from your answers. The text is written for your profile, one of sixteen. All of section 2 and parts of sections 3, 5, 11, 12 and 13 depend on your numbers: your percentages on the four scales, your “most” and “least” counts and your lowest scale. Your name is on every page.

What format does it come in?

A PDF attached to an email, about 27 A4 pages. It reads well on screen and prints cleanly; each of the three worksheets fits on a single page.

What language is the report in?

In English. The report was written in English from the start, not translated from another language.

Is this a diagnosis or an ability test?

No. The report describes your behavioral style based on your answers. It doesn’t diagnose anything, measure intelligence or predict success.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. If the report isn’t right for you, write to info@disc-test.org within 7 days of payment and we’ll refund you in full, no reason needed. Other cases and how refunds are made are set out in the refund policy.

The service is called “In-depth DISC profile” and is provided under our terms of sale; see the refund policy for when and how refunds are made.
